We just had new carpet put into our bedrooms and between selecting our carpet and having it installed was such a pleasant experience! Super Happy With Hardwood Floors And Carpet
Solana Flooring installed hardwood in 3 bedrooms and a hallway as well as carpeting in one bedroom and stairway. The new flooring looks beautiful and the results are better that I could have ever imagined. The installation workmanship was top-notch. Additionally they were extremely considerate in accommodating our personal life schedule constraints. They came highly recommended from members of our family and I am so happy that we found out about them. This is a company that is honest and I feel I can trust them. I gave them a 5-star rating for this review but I honestly believe they deserve 6 stars for this project because they delivered more than I expected for a 5-star rating.

Excellent Job And Service
Mik, the owner, and his assistant, Whitney, were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole job. Whitney in particular has an excellent eye for choosing hardwood to perfectly complement the house, and she made many trips with samples and gave her advice. And they were extremely patient as we took our time in deciding on the wood--they had quite a selection to choose from! They truly understand that this is a big investment, and they never rushed us. We felt comfortable with them early on, so much so that we left town and handed the house over to them to do the job. They did a fabulous job of installation and our twenty-two-year-old house now looks like a brand-new model home. We would highly recommend Solana Flooring to anyone who wants quality hardwood installed perfectly.

Professional Perfectionists
Solana Flooring are professional perfectionists; as a retired dentist I appreciate that. From the design phase to final installation every step was completed with care, attention to detail and completed on time. They treated us and our house with respect, cleaning up with care like we actually lived there. When the painter arrived he was so impressed with the fit and finish he wanted to know who it was so he could refer to them because it made his job easy. We could not be more pleased with our new floor.

I went all over town and am convinced Solana Flooring has the very best quality! Mik the Owner used to be an installer so he guided me to make the right choice in thickness & style that suited my home while other Contractors were trying to cut corners… Whithey in sales, was also super knowledgeable with all the products and her customer service was 10 +stars from beginning to end . Amazing Showroom Service
Whitney was incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. She took the time to fully understand what we were looking for, and expertly grabbed samples to help us hone in on our desired products quickly. Her very tuned eyes were able to quickly pick out what flooring would suit us, and she helped us paint a picture of the best color combinations for flooring with other aspects of our home like wall paint. We're very appreciative of her expertise, time, and professionalism, and would recommend her to anyone looking for flooring.

Great Job. Fair Price. Excellent Service.
We recently purchased flooring from Solana Flooring. I wasn't the easiest customer, changing my mind multiple times until we finally made our decision. Jeanne was our primary sales person. She never wavered in her kind and patient support responding to each of my concerns. We ended up with flooring that we truly love that is both ecologically friendly and beautiful. Her crew did an awesome job of installation. Jeanne did her best to make it as painless as possible coming over several times during the installation to make sure things were going well. Many thanks to Jeanne, Whitney, Mik and Lupe. These guys are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Solana Flooring is not a discount shop, but I felt they were very fairly priced for the service and quality that they offer. We are so glad we went with them. They deserve all these 5 Star reviews.

Thrilled!
We challenged Miklos and Whitney with what we thought was an impossible task - dismantling and re-assembling a custom designer steel and wood bed that has, seriously, a hundred pieces. Not only did the amazing crew get the job done, in order to install the most gorgeous wool carpet EVER, but they accomplished it in hours, rather than the days we thought it would take. An Olympian achievement for which they are awarded the gold medal.

So Happy With My Floors!
I went into Solana Flooring last month just browsing flooring options and I met the owner Miklos and his Sales Associate Whitney who was very helpful in answering my questions about the options I had in mind for my home. Whitney was very patient with me and explained the differences in Vinyl vs. Hardwood vs. Cork. I was leaning toward Cork at first but had very little knowledge about the product and the care. The knowledgeable staff helped me pick out the right flooring for my family home that is close to the beach with having kids and pets I chose the LVT Waterproof Vinyl and carpets for my bedrooms. What a difference this flooring has made! The installers were very professional also and very clean work. They have an awesome crew! Definitely recommend this store to anyone looking to have the floors updated!

The Most Beautiful Floors!
Just want to thank Mik and his team. The floors are stunning and really changed the whole look of our home. They also installed new baseboards throughout. The day after the job was finished, a huge painting fell from the wall and damaged a large section. The team graciously returned and repaired the damage for free. That's great customer service, going above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend this wonderful, trust-worthy, hard working, family-owned company.

Great Flooring
It was a good experience working with Mik and their crew. They installed carpeting throughout our upstairs bedrooms, hall and stairway. Downstairs they put in vinyl plank flooring. All of the flooring came out beautiful. They were easy to work with, reliable and followed through. I highly recommend Solana Flooring.

Awesome Flooring
We had Solana Flooring install hardwood and carpeting throughout our house. They did an awesome job from the design to the installation. We were about to make several design mistakes which Mik corrected. The engineered wood that we selected is beautiful. Installing new flooring is a hassle. Mik and his crew made moving everything as easy as possible. The prep work they did was amazing. This flooring will last a long time.

Saved The Day
We were in town for two days, and had to have our carpet reattached, or maybe replaced. The owner answered the phone. He said all of his installers were booked, and that they were really busy. He agreed to do it himself after work, because his showroom was a short walk from our condo. Well, it was quite as bit more work than I expected. He was amazing. When I asked if we should just replace the carpet, he told us that it was unnecessary, and then gave me the name of a carpet cleaning company. Awesome! Customer service at this company is just amazing. Call Mik directly. He is truly providing excellent service.

I have been contracting in San Diego for sixteen years and thankfully I have had the pleasure of using Solana Flooring on my projects for the last twelve years. They have always been an asset to my company as they offer innovative solutions in flooring product and always excellent craftsmanship. Even their efforts in scheduling and flexibility of changing schedules has always been in my favor. I don't know how they can deliver this level of customer service so consistently. Highly Recommended
While I have not personally used Solana Flooring services, I've had several people referred to them who have. All of them rave about their professionalism, quality and fair pricing. The fact that they run a very efficient operation allows them to keep their pricing low while offering outstanding service. There is a saying that in business you can offer only two of the following: price, quality, and service. In Solana Floorings' case they offers all three.

My New Wood Floor
We decided that we wanted to replace our family room carpet with wood and we called Solana Flooring. He showed us some great products that would fit our needs (something that would stand up to our two dogs) and he helped us choose a beautiful floor. Mik installed the floor and I was amazed at what he went through to level the floor. In addition to using a grinder he poured a very thick coating that looked like glass on the entire 22 x 18 room. He also undercut our tile hearth so the boards looked like they ran underneath the tiles. This floor turned out perfect!! I couldn't find a flaw. Absolutely superb workmanship in every detail!! I would highly recommend Solana Flooring to anyone!!

Refinish Floors
Bryon and his brothers did a fantastic job in refinishing our old oak floors. They moved the furniture without damage, used equipment that generated very litte dust and finished the job on time as scheduled. The end result is floors that are better looking than they were when first installed. We would be pleased to recommend Solana Flooring to anyone.

FANTASTIC JOB
Installed Carpet, HW Floors and Tile Floors. The carpet had some flaws and Solana Flooring hounded the Mill until they replaced it at no cost to us. It took over 2 years to get it done but Dave never gave up.

Yes Hal, it did take some persistence and Im happy to report that the mill dropped that style of carpet.

Clean And Quick
Mic has been great to work with. It started with a great recommendation on new wood flooring, easy and no hassle contract paperwork - he came to pick up the down payment. When it came to installation they communicated very well, came on time - finished the work on time and worked very clean. I did't have to micromanage and Mic followed up to make sure I am 100% satisfied. I wish all contractors would work like Solana Flooring. Thanks to the whole team.

Highly Recommend!
We are thoroughly enjoying our new flooring! From the time the workman from Solana Flooring arrived, things were so organized. They went to the trouble of telling our immediate neighbors that there would be some noise for a couple of days. Believe me, that was a good thing because one particular neighbor was very impressed with the consideration and mentioned it to me. To say the work was accomplished in a very orderly and clean way is putting it mildly. I was delighted that each of the installers was so careful to sweep up after every session. I had to do nothing but admire their thorough work habits. In the process, some molding needed replacing. We were so grateful to Mik for going out right away to find replacement pieces, saving time and money for us. They did all they could to finish on time, taking care that every detail of the carpeting, especially on our stairs, was perfect. We were so happy to get the wood flooring downstairs in short order, done as painstakingly as was the carpeting. And how grand it looks. I was thankful they were careful moving our furniture, especially our new piano! The final praise goes for the workers' excellent manners. Many thanks to salesman and to owner, Mik, for a job so well orchestrated and accomplished. We highly recommend their company!
