If it’s not your parent’s vinyl floor anymore, what is it?!
Realistic wood look, finish, and texture isn’t what you think of when you hear the words “Vinyl Floor”, or even “Vinyl” and “Plank” put together. However, Vinyl Plank Floor is the world’s second hottest floor product today, can you believe it?

Wood Like Vinyl Plank, commonly referred to as Luxury Vinyl Tile(LVT) or Luxury Vinyl Plank(LVP), are in high demand, and with good reason.
Hello Beautiful,
Thanks to advanced technology, vinyl is now manufactured in a plank-style floor option, instead of the rolled out and glued down vinyl or linoleum, that comes to mind when we think of vinyl floors.
Vinyl Plank Floor has expanded to mimic hardwood floor without actually having hardwood in the product! Vinyl planks are typically composed of four distinct layers fused together: a resilient vinyl backing, a vinyl color layer, a photographic film layer, and a urethane or aluminum oxide top layer. The protective top layer (also called the wearlayer or mil layer) is very important to the durability of the product.
Luxury vinyl plank flooring is ideal for anywhere in your home, even in the kitchen or bathroom. It is a practical and stylish flooring option that is waterproof, extremely durable and easy to install. It is also a cost-effective way to get a hardwood-look. Vinyl planks generally come in a 6″ width but can vary anywhere from 4″ to 7″. They also vary in length from 3′ to 4′ but this will all depend on the manufacturer. Multiple boards are meant to reproduce the look of multiple smaller hardwood boards combined on a wide vinyl plank. Vinyl planks have a distressed look to them to give the appearance of a hardwood floor.
