Hi! My name is Valerie Sutherland, interior designer and owner of Casual Elegance Interiors. I have over twenty years of experience in both interior and fashion design, and specialize in custom drapery and window treatments.

I’m a Certified Window Fashions Professional, member of the Window Coverings Association of America, and an ASID Industry Partner. You may have seen my work displayed in one of the four local showrooms I’ve designed over the past several years; two in Encinitas, one in the Cedros Design District in Solana Beach and one in Rancho Bernardo.

We offer access to mini, vertical, honey comb, sheer, alloy wood, faux and natural wood blinds as well as painted, bamboo and wood shutters.
